Centaur: Biography Of A Typeface

Spring 2008

In my Typography & Visual Design course, I was responsible for researching a typeface and writing a short biography about it.

I chose Centaur, a renaissance style typeface that was designed by Bruce Rogers for the Metropolitan Museum in 1912–14.

This is the resulting layout, biography, and typographic specimen.
